HOW TO REACH SANTA CRISTINA IN VAL GARDENA
Santa Cristina Valgardena lies in the heart of the Dolomites, in the province of Bolzano. Here are the main options for reaching us, wherever you're travelling from.
BY PLANEThe nearest airports are Bolzano (the closest, about 40 km away), Innsbruck, Verona, Brescia and Bergamo. From all of them, with a rental car or a private transfer, you can reach the valley in a reasonable time, with Bolzano definitely the most convenient.
BY TRAINThe main reference stations are Bolzano and Bressanone, both well connected to the national and international rail network. Several buses to Val Gardena depart from there — for up-to-date timetables and connections we recommend South Tyrol Mobility.
BY CARApproximate distances are: Bolzano 40 km, Verona 190 km, Innsbruck 120 km, Milan 315 km. The valley is accessible year-round; in winter we recommend travelling with snow tyres or carrying chains, as required on alpine passes.
ONCE YOU'RE IN THE VALLEYIf you arrive without a car, the free ski bus stop just 150 metres from the apartment connects Santa Cristina to the ski lifts in winter. We also provide our guests with public transport passes for South Tyrol, handy for getting around the valley without always needing a car.
